as well as not only Beverly but Gates McFadden
and possibly this can apply to Wesley, including Wil Wheaton
I swear they are the most arrogant, and I can see why each of them were disliked by the cast.
Patrick, Jonathan, LaVar, Michael, Marina, and later on Michelle as Ro Laren, and Denise (in the first few seasons), along with Whooppi. They were downright laid back. But those 3 are arrogant, and I know they're not very popular.
Let's take Brent (and Data being an emotionaless android, although he shows emotion, and I'm not diminishing or disrespecting his character, but I don't see Brent Spiner at all, Data is, in a good way, far from human only because I don't see the actor playing him), but Brent Spiner is an Allied Nordicist Yankee
Friends
-watching
Seinfeld
-hating ****stain in real life.
And Beverly is that type, and Gates is some of those things. I'm surprised she didn't guest start on a lame unpopular The WB (but I guess with Brent, her friend, it's close enough: I mean he was in
Master of Disguise
which was pure arrogance, unfuniness and cringe, and did air on The WB) show. Everything about her has Tribune Broadcasting written all over it. She could have been WGN Chicago's spokeswoman. She's so arrogant, and she insulted tomboys, broish gals (the first two being one of the bros) and autistics. Yeah insulted an autistic person (talking about "mentally retarded" because they were annoying her) at a Comic Con. She would admire Jennifer Anniston (and Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer, Jennifer insulted autistics on TV, and one episode of
Friends
was devoted to bashing autistics).
And Wil Wheaton is not as extreme but his criticism of "Seinfeld" pissed me off. They're so unliakable. This goes to the characters too. Beverly Crusher and Wil Wheaton both come off as a know-it-alls too. If I were Captain I'd say "Shut up Wesley" and possibly "Shut up Beverly" as well.
When I see Brent Spiner in anything else I cringe.
