Robert Townsend kind of looks like Eddie Murphy and I actually thought that was Eddie Murphy on the picture of him on the IMDB cover.
I call movies that are considered 'bad' hated movies.

Even more ironic, Eddie Murphy took Robert Townsend's SNL spot in 1980! They were part of "the Black Pack." Robert Directed and produced Eddie Murphy: Raw.

Looking at that scene reminded me of just how MASSIVE Eddie Murphy's movie stardom was during the eighties. He sure lost much of his Hollywood-Mojo since then. I guess Will Smith is the new box office star.

You're right that they do actually look quite different. However, he does on the poster, especially when it's a tiny thumbnail in your watchlist.
