It would be nice, but not much has changed. "Hollywood Shuffle" is just as relevant today as it was twenty years ago!

I agree with the OP, the original never got a lot of love in the UK and a decent remake would be good. And that's what I thought American Hustle was, instead I ended up watching the most excrutiating piece of crap for a long time.
I thought the original was called Hollywood Hustle! Damn my bad memory.
