      I agree with the OP, the original never got a lot of love in the UK and a decent remake would be good. And that's what I thought American Hustle was, instead I ended up watching the most excrutiating piece of crap for a long time.
      I thought the original was called Hollywood Hustle! Damn my bad memory.

                      No way.. Simply put, there's simply not enough intelligent black comedy out there to make me comfortable with writers coming up with something relevant and worth watching I would even go as far as saying that a lot of the comedies geared towards a black audience are exactly the type of movie that Townsend was taking shots at Soul Plane, Lottery Ticket, virtually anything done by the younger Wayans brothers.
