Fright Night was not my kind of movie. Lost Boys is way better, the ultimate vampire movie - scary, sexy and funny. The right mix of a great ensemble cast, awesome soundtrack, memorable characters, perfect setting & story plus some killer lines. No other vampire film, be it Fight Night or Near Dark (aka Lost Boys on valium), comes close to matching the attitude and energy of Lost Boys. It's a masterpiece.

Lost Boys moves faster and is beautiful to look at, but Fright Night has the better script and more substance.

I like both, so I won't pick one over the other. However, I do tend to watch Fright Night on cable more. So, maybe I picked without realizing.
