Of course I am. Either is a scam, because no school or "instructor" will give you a diploma of qualification after a few hours of theory then practice in the same day.. or he's full of ****

There is no diploma involved here.
This has more to do with learning a new skill. Sort of like on the job training. If you can't understand something try learning more about it.
