        That's an amazing CD if you can get your hands on one.
        His sax on this particular title is just beautiful. I can listen to it for hours on end.

          Reissued during Jazz's renaissance of the 1980's on Fantasy Records in Berkeley Cal.
          I believe it was reissued on three formats;
          LP, CD and Audio Cassette.

            inode,
            That scene in the lounge is one of my all time favourites.
            That accompanying music for that scene, along with Bernard Tavernier's "Round Midnight" (1986) defined my '80s

                Yes there is a soundtrack but I cannot find it. Have you been successful? I would love to get a hold on one.

                  I think Warren Zevon was also featured in this soundtrack

                    That was Sting that mangled the vocal on this version.
                    If you like him, then good for you.
                    However there are dozens of recorded versions of this Gershwin classic including legends like Judy Garland, Sinatra, Streisand, Etta James, Ella Fitzgeraldthe list is endlessAmy Winehouse did a fantastic version

                      When I first saw the film, I thought it was Randy "I Love L.A." Newman
