Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Three Men and a Baby

In the scene near the end of the movie, right before Sylvia shows up at the apartment to reclaim Mary, Rebecca, Peter's girlfriend is leaving after spending the night and as she kisses Peter goodbye, baby Mary, who is on Peter's arm, is holding a white object in her hand that belongs to Rebecca and the baby has it in her mouth. Rebecca gently takes it from her and shakes the slobber off of it as she walks toward the elevator. What IS that thing? I've never been able to get enough look at it to really tell. Does anybody know?

It is some kind of paper i think
Coz she walks away and shakes it and says very quietly "Great"
She was dressed for work so i am guessing it was something to do with her work

It looked a little big to be lipstick, and it didn't really look like a paper either, it looked more solid.

It has a glass bottom and white top. I am guessing it is nail polish or remover.
                  Workshed!
