Me too.
I used to watch them every night right before bed to get the nightmares rolling.
I heard all the episodes this person had was from some group of VHS tapes that are floating around.
Hope they come back. -

If only a new company released the series on DVD,this wouldn't matter so much, but the original DVD distributor[First Look] is now defunct, and the original DVD sets are out-of-print.
I have all of them, seven in all,but wish the entire series was made available, since there clearly is a demand for it.
Perhaps VEI[who released "In Search Of"] could get the rights? That may be both a good and bad thing.! -

We need to find vintage 90's and convince him to upload his videos to VEOH which I think has eyes for copyright infringement. Or NBC or LIfetime or spike upload all the episodes to itunes or hulu or netflix since you find it unnecessary to protect the money UM would get you even though no channel does anything with the show.
So if Vintage 90's ever goes on imdb find another way to upload the videos don't give up. -

yes this pissed me off.
however guys. don't be too pissed off.
you can buy a full set of dvds from ioffer.com
i think they are the exact same vidoes from youtube. they seem to be from all different channels. also they seem to be the same quality, and one disk had a bunch of clisp in a row over and over again like a part on youtube did.
i got a full-set for 25 bucks with shipping.
you can either buy a full series with robert stack like i did, and get the same quality as the youtube vidoes, or you can get the new series that was on spike which i am assume is much better quality. -

i got the 12 disk one
the 16 disk one also includes the best of series. those will be in better quality i believe because they come from a dvd.
you could also get the new ones that ran on spike, that are in great quality.
like i said, the same quality on youtube will be on the disk.
also word of advice, if you are gonna play them on the computer don't use windows media player, the sound sucks through that. either play it on a dvd player, or use
VLC player and play it. VLC player is great. -

so the 16 disk has all the stuff the 12 disk has plus the best of UM? sounds like a better deal because the 12 disc for me is $40 while the 16 disk is $30 so it sounds like a better deal.

I got the 16 disk set, along with the Dennis Farina collection from that site too, both of which were good buys, and am happy to have! The quality on the Dennis Farina cases were great, and fully watchable, though I did just go over them, and don't think it's the entire collection as advertised, but it's still a lot of episodes, and worth getting. The Stack DVD's were great, though several episodes were duplicated, and the quality was a bit off on many of them, as the picture was kind of rough, and you also needed to have the sound turned all the way up on several cases to be able to hear them.
Overall though, they're both great buys which I highly recommend, and worth having all the way. Hope someone else out there has some other episodes for sale, or trade, as I'm still looking for a few myself, or that someone else has a bigger set as well, with the rest of the episodes. I'm still looking for a few myself, if anyone here can possibly help in any way.

Also, for those of you considering getting the 16 disk set here is the full list of episodes it has at http://www.ioffer.com/offer_transactions/show/6sbxhhh7 It's currently the biggest compilation of U.M. you can find online as of right now and the one I highly recommended for fans of the show who want the most, and best episodes! So glad I got this too, and anyone else here happen to have any other Stack segments by the way? There's still a few I'm looking for, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seahawksfan I completely agree. The Dennis Farina version is boring and is nowhere near as scary as the Robert Stack version. It would be nice if they released complete series set I'd be first in line for a set!

Yeah, the Farina version is the same show, but without the atmosphere and Stack's voice, it doesn't work. Farina and the call center setting, all wrong. Hopefully we get proper season sets one of these days.
