It will be coming very soon and it's a nice package to boot. The disc will have a commentary, three featurettes, the original ending, trailer and complete screenplay in pdf format. Definitely worth the wait.

In the alternate ending Bruce Abbott grabs the lead actress and pulls her to safety. The police come onto the roof and before they can apprehend the crazed doctor, he jumps off the building himself. A little time later, we see Bruce Abbott and the lead actress (can't remember her name) driving to the building where the Unity cult had taken refuge. It is mostly burnt down but the lead actress decides she wants to make final amends. They walk into the building and explore it for a few minutes. After this, she tells Bruce Abbott to leave her for a few minutes. He does and that is when the ghosts of Unity and Richard Lynch appear. Lynch explains to her that he is her father and that she still must kill herself. He hands her a knife and just when it looks like she is going to do herself in, she starts slashing away at Lynch, cutting him up pretty bad. Afterwards, the ghosts disappear and she walks out of the building and gets into the car. As they drive away, we see a camera shot inside the building and we see a skeleton hand holding the knife that she used to slash up Lynch. Fade to black. That is the alternate ending.

Best Buy was the only place I've even been able to find a copy. They only had 2 copies of it. I already own it on VHS, so I decided I'd buy it next time because this time I was buying Visiting Hours and The Pyjama Girl Case. When I went back a few days later, the two copies they had were gone.
