i saw this film a while ago and LOVED it! great acting great plot and a classic twist at the end i did not see comingi would go so far as to say its my all time favorite slasher flick.
just wondering to anyone else who has seen the film which ending do you like more? the one where it ends after Berrisford is pushed off the building by Cynthia or the original ending on the DVD where Berrisford kills himself and then Alex and Cynthia go back to the Unity Fields house and Cynthia confronts Harris one last time.
me i prefer the latter ending because it offers more closure and the ending with the skeletal hand of Harris taking the dagger back to hell with him was creepy.
    any thoughts??

I agree, the second ending that they cut from the movie is a lot better I have no idea why they didn't use it considering it adds so much more closure to the story.
I thought the movie was decent but it wasn't that great. Nightmare on Elm Street 3 is more corny but also a much more satisfying execution of the same basic premise, in my opinion.

I like the unreleased ending. It makes more sense and reveals Cynthia's relation to Harris.
