Dirty Harry
10 out of 10
2)
Magnum Force
10 out of 10
3)
Sudden Impact
9 out of 10 (Loved this film, and thought it was a great, gritty entry)
4)
The Enforcer
8 out of 10
5)
The Dead Pool
7 out of 10 (Not as bad as it's made out to be, it's a solid film that just doesn't quite live up the previous)
And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point? -

My ranking:
- Dirty Harry - 10/10
-. Sudden Impact - 10/10 - Magnum Force - 7/10
- The Enforcer - 6/10
- The Dead Pool - 3.5/10
Thats basically my ranking, Sudden impact was equally on par with the original if not better. Magnum force was almost as good but was let down by the final act, death by crashing motorbike into lake? hardly satisfying. Enforcer had all the elements of the top 3 instalments but was hurt by the tone, villains and storyline. The less said about deadpool the better, other than the opener,rc car chase and jim carrey's death scene I cant recall anything substantial that happened. The movie was just listless
- Dirty Harry - 10/10

Ironically, I think the first trilogy were all great, with the original being the best. The original trilogy make up some of my favorite movies.
- Dirty Harry (1971)- 10/10
- Magnum Force (1973)- 10/10
- The Enforcer (1976)- 10/10
- Sudden Impact (1983)- 7/10
- The Dead Pool (1988)- 7/10
I still say The Dead Pool was the worst of the series, but none of them were bad. The last two films were good, but not at all on par with the previous three.
I am a proud believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.

- Magnum Force. Just entertaining from start to finish.
- Dirty Harry. If he shot him after revealing where the girl was the movie would have been over right there.
- The Dead Pool. Had some real lousy moments, but some good ones as well.
- Sudden Impact. Way too much Sandra Locke, as others have said it's like two movies in one. The Dirty Harry parts save it.
- The Enforcer. Corny villains, not threatening. Tried too hard to be "stylish".

1> Dirty Harry
2> Magnum Force
3> The Dead Pool
4> Sudden Impact
5> The Enforcer
Aside from the first two movies, I feel that the other three movies have stories that could have been told in a crime TV series, without much ambition.
I was really bothered by "The Enforcer" mainly because of its story structure. I seemed to me like it was one giant first act/introduction, getting directly to its conclusion near the end of the movie. -

- Dirty Harry - Pretty consistent, almost all of the respondents rank it number 1.
- Sudden Impact - I think I rate this far higher than most. I think the few great scenes, especially the rapid firing finale with the auto mag elevates the whole film.
- The Dead Pool - Classic "Dirty Harry" satire. The body count on the organization hit men who are trying to get Harry is a great sub plot.
- The Enforcer - Tyne Daly's character is a really good counter-force to Dirty Harry.
- Magnum Force - The Moto Guzzi police bikes were a neat, technically accurate quirk, along with the jeep carriers in Suisun Bay (or San Francisco Bay, if I have my bays confused). But the "bad guys" were really weak overall.

- Magnum Force
- Sudden Impact
- The Dead Pool
- The Enforcer
- Dirty Harry
I don't think any of them are bad films, but I prefer all of the sequels over the original. Magnum Force is easily my favorite.
Would you mind not shooting at the thermonuclear weapons?
