here is the proof this is not a christmas movie: from the director:
ok there is the proof the definitive proof now everyone out there saying it's a christmas movie is wrong bc the director said it wasn't his intention to make a christmas movie. an intention is the most important thing in making a movie as far as what it is if you do it right and he did it right which proves this is not a christmas movie. also it' impossible to unwillingly, accidentally make a christmas movie.
