Yes, this is a Christmas film. I mean, the whole story happens on Christmas Eve. I re-watched it again as a part of my Christmas film list.

Here's the thing I've learned about the "Not a Christmas movie!" people: that the sub-genre is so sacred, it must be protected from anything that doesn't have Santa Claus or a message.
