If they had cast a different person instead of her I would have probably liked it more, I just couldn't get over her playing a sexually-empowered woman since she looks like a foot. Anyone agree? Not trying to be a hater, just sayin'.

Well you must be seeing your reflection from the TV when you watch it because shes gorgeous and your probably not and most likely filled with jealousy so you feel its necessary to bash her to make you feel better.

She looked amazing in this film! My favorite part was when she first met John Cleese and she puts on some reading glasses for a sort of geek girl charm. -

Jamie Lee looked amazing in this movie, i even think she never looked better. I'm surprised that though Wanda was so backstabbing and ready to do just about everything with anyone in order to get her way, she didn't appear slutty AT ALL! She was more of a she-devil! (all the more fun)

I realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I've spent a lot of time, way too much time, trying to figure out what it could be that would cause you to find Jamie Lee so unattractive that you feel that it wrecked the movie. But the movie is/was clearly a success and it has to be a small minority of people who don't get it. It stands to reason, I guess, that these same people would find (or claim to find) that a woman of the caliber of Jamie Lee Curtis is anything less than phenomenal. Not only is she beautiful and sexy as hell, but she's a great actress and comedienne. I tried to consider what it could be - her height, her short hair, her intelligence, that might be such a turn-off to someone else but I just can't see it because these are the things that make Jamie Lee hot. She's not petite and demure, and yes, that can work too with the right person, but that doesn't take the least little thing away from Jamie Lee Curtis' greatness. Of course, this isn't going to change your opinion of how someone looks, and I guess that will forever prevent you from seeing how much talent she has, but since you felt compelled to tell us you think she looks like a foot, I felt even more compelled to respond.

You know even I never found her attractive, just one of those actresses who just don't do anything for you, but this movie totally turned that around, she looked quite hot here, I'm certainly going to keep an eye on Jamie Lee from now on (from 80's, early 90's I mean)

i didn't mean to make anyone upset or something, haha i just wanted to express my jerky opinion i guess. i find it hilarious that people actually are implying i am just jealous but i guess i should have expected that for making such a jerky comment. i still think she looks manly but to each their own i suppose!

I've been schwingin' for JLC for over 30 years (she's eight months younger than me), and I can honestly say I see where some might find her unattractive. A very unique look, what with no upper lip, and all. lol There's just something about her. Put on display in Perfect, The Dorothy Straton Story, Trading Places, True Lies, to name a few. As you said; sexy, yet seemingly approachable.

I agree that she is not so charming or sexy than some younger girls as we often see in the movie like jessica alba.But under such circumstance of the movie, Jamie Lee Curtis and Wanda just perfectly match. I even want to say that Wanda is just for Jamie and Jamie is just for Wanda.

No way! Jamie Lee Curtis is hot because she's sexy AND intelligent. Jessica Alba, and many other young starlets today like her, may be gorgeous, but she's got the personality of a block of wood. Not sexy. -

She is really sexy and gorgeous in the moviemaybe it's just that her haircut and glasses are very 80's that made you say that she's not attractive. If it was done today she would probably have a Pob or something.
