Valentines Day is only fun when it lands on the weekend. Then you go out on the town and there are tons of single, thirsty bitches everywhere begging for dick. Most girls that don’t get any affection on Valentines Day tend to feel depressed.

That depends entirely on what you’re looking for. Lots of people are perfectly happy being single and living a carefree, independent lifestyle with lots of partners. Others enjoy having that special someone in a relationship. Happiness is completely subjective. And you’re referring to the unhappy gays here which is quite different imo.
