I would think sticking the virginal Eve with that large of a strap-on would draw blood, and I know some animals, such as sharks, are drawn by the scent of blood. Is that how the wyrm was notified that it was dinnertime, virginal or not. Which is why I have always wondered how the wyrm was notified that it was dinnertime. Ring a gong?
And if you want to think where Eve was stuck with that thing, then think where Kevin might have been stuck, since he was most probably fed to the worm just the way he died, which was starkers. If he was stuck, before he was fed to the wyrm.
And then there was Joe Trent, was he stuck with that thing? Since he must have been wearing something, as his pocket watch was fed to the wyrm as well.
