Otherwise your married life will become really boring fast You spend all your time on deciding what kind of Window Treatments, painting of the house, types of lawnmowers Then going to the club with your wife and you just feel so out of place.. Then you realize, at that point it makes sense to try having kids..
I think they would have been better off and happier if they had stayed in a small condo near the city until they had kids then make the move to the burbs when they are ready to start school.. but that's just me..

Also maybe don't get married if you are not done with school / have a steady job or career yet. And she was waiting to start her career until after HE finished getting his Masters? Bleh!
