I saw this movie in the theatre when I was about 12 years old. What movies did others see that no one seems to have heard of(bombs)? No one I know, save my brother who went with me, has seemed to have heard of this.
I also saw Major League 2 in the theatre as well.
I also saw The Machinist, although that is different because that movie was in my opinion a great film.

Buckaroo Banzai and The Warriors of Virtue were movies I recall seeing that bombed pretty hard.

        Abraxas: Guardian of the Universe!
The last film I ever saw at a drive-in.

I caught 'Sons of Steel' at a midnight screening on a Friday night on the way home from a late shift at work. An excellent, but almost unknown, Aussie sci-fi flick. It was quite a pleasant surpise.

was no bomb. It made very respectable money for its budget.

I saw this at the drive-in when I was 16. Even though it bombed, I think anyone my age would remember the movie even if they hadn't seen it because it was heavily promoted. But younger people probably don't remember it.
There's a great gag in a episode of the Simpsons where Lisa sees a picture of a theater from the 80's whose sign says "Yahoo Serious Festival" and she says she knows all three words but the sentence doesn't make any sense.
Some movies I saw in the theater and never heard anything about again are Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone, Jake Speed, The Last of the Finest , The First Power, and American Dreamer.
