I need dedicated Arsenio fans to confirm or kill this rumor. The story goes that someone ( Barry Bonds? )comes out on the sofa after some beautiful woman ( Haille Berry ) has just left, and that ( he ) "sniffs" the sofa. I am skeptical, I don't remember Barry ever being on the show, and the show seems too long ago for Haille to be a guest. I promised I would try and track it down one way or another, thank you.

Halle Berry was a guest on the show in 1991. She was promoting the movie "Strictly Business." I remember the episode.

I doubt it was Barry Bonds. He didn't get popular until his homeruns with the Giants in the 2000s? Halle Berry was probably on the show though.

Saw the show. In fact, the next night one of those syndicated shows (Entertainment Tonight or one of those shows?) did a segment on it.
As I recall, she had finished her segment and left. Bonds proceeded to sniff, elaborately, the seat of the now empty chair.
