The Simpsons are not funny anymore. Some of it's episodes turned into science fiction instead of the classic, realistic tone. The only way a hsow can have an ending with dignity is when it finishes on time, like Friends. Two and a Half Men did not finish with dignity, it hsoul've ended in S10.

Why is everyone so obsessed with when this snow is going to end? I mean, Saturday Night Live hasn't been funny in at least 25 years, or maybe longer, and yet it keeps getting renewed year after year, when is that show going to end?

qwhen they die, AI voice software might have been developed to such degree that replacing them with computer voice becomes an option. Not saying that is a good thing, but people will do anything for money.
It could be another voice actor that sounds like the dead one, and the computer making the 'finishing touches' -

No one knows but I grew up with it and my kids have grown up with it too. I think that is cool. Now no one jump on me, I waited until they were about 10 or so to start watching it.

It should run from 1989 to 2020 so it can span 5 decades
That's only 3 decades and one year.
correction: That's only 3 decades.
The Simpsons didn't premiere until December 1989 and the second episode wasn't until January 1990.
January 1990 - January 2020 = 3 decades.
okay, 3 decades and 1 episode.
Who wants to watch more than 1 episode of this, anyways?
For that matter, who wants to watch even 1 episode of this crummy show at all?
