    i know he may have been a bigger star at the time, but the main character is batman and the movie is called BATMAN! but yet they have nicholson billed first! i know he might have demanded it, but it just seems ridiculous!

          On its IMDb page,
          Top Gun
          (1986) lists Tom Cruise, Tim Robbins, and Kelly McGillis as top-billed. I can see Cruise and McGillis in prime spots, but… Tim Robbins??! What about Val Kilmer or Anthony Edwards, both of whom had far more important roles in the film than Tim Robbins? Even Tom Skerritt or Meg Ryan were more central to the story than Tim Robbins. Weird!
