Jack Nicholson has said goodbye to his days as a working actor, if pal Peter Fonda is any authority on the subject.
Fonda who co-starred with Nicholson in 1969s Easy Rider and has been friends with him ever since claimed that the Oscar-winning actor, now 79, had officially called it quits.
Makes sense. He hasn't been in a movie since 2010 and he's really getting up there in age. Plus, there were rumors that he was having trouble memorizing scripts in recent years.

Bummer. The man has certainly earned his retirement, just kind of bummed we won't see him as often anymore. Oh well, he definitely has had one hell of a career.
