i was with my friends Strida, halo and magic, we were on a supply run to novo to get more planks and nails to fortify our base and finish off our watchtower. There are normally 7 of us but today there was only 4 but i still felt safe as gangs as large as even 4 are somewhat rare. We drove there too. The car was a thing of pride for us as finding them are hard, but finding things to make it run are harder, it took us 15 hours to get it set up.
we arrived in town and started chopping and stacking wooden planks. Halo said he heard a gunshot but it sounded far off so we paid it no never mind. After stacking a good number of planks i stopped to eat half a can of peaches and gracefully sip from a can of pipsi when i figured i should head west a little and look for the nails we needed.
i had not got far away before i heard halo say '
where are you going
? '
I thought he was talking to me so i replied
'
Im just going to look for some nails in the shed over yonder
'
so why are you taking the car
?
halo replies.
what? …. i was on foot, not in the car, i found his comment most irregular.
Im not in the car?
I said, bamboozled.
halo and magic are with me?
halo said.

FUCK, SOMEONES TAKING THE FCKING CAR LADS!!
' Magic shouts.
I ran into the road with my gun ready to see the car speeding off into the distance. The party was silent for a few seconds.

' Halo said. And we set off on foot in the direction the car went.
While running, I thought to myself how futile this was as we were on foot chasing a car, but i said nothing as I knew tensions in the gang would be high right nao. We talked about the fact that we were only mere FEET away from the car, but this person or persons managed to sneak in and take the car right from under our nose, we also talked about how they were no doubt just players looking for a fun time and not into base building, so they dont even need the planks of wood they stole as we do. Strida said that while he wants to kill them, he admires the balls on them ( no homo )
In the road, we saw a random puff of smoke but it did not seem to be coming from something. Halo had a theory that due to how buggy this game beata is, the theifs could have revved the car too much and crashed it, and it has now despawned. So we decided to check out the town we were closest to us.
while in the town, a massive lagg took me away from the group, thats when a fire fight broke out. I could hear the guys talking to each other, I could hear the shots, i just could not find the action.
' i see 2 of them '
magic said.

'. These proved to be magics last words as another shot rings out

Magic was dead. Me and strida run into the woods but there was no sign of the shooter. We went back to loot the corpse of the shooters friend, he had nothing worth taking. We each put a few bullets into his corpse before leaving.
We dont know if the 2 men in the town had anything to do with the car theft.
