Trying to figure out the name of a horror movie that I saw parts of as a kid. I was watching it on tv, but then my parents came in and made me turn it off.
It took place in either a mansion or some kind of castle villa. All I remember is that someone was going around the place killing off people one by one.
-One person was pushed into a fireplace and burned alive. I think their hands were still attached to a shelf above the fireplace after the rest of them had burned away.
-One woman was swimming in a pool. She was killed when someone turned on the motor to move the pool cover and she got trapped underneath it.
-Someone else was killed outside by a bunch of Doberman like dogs.
I'm not even sure if this was a good movie, but I would be curious to figure out what it is and finally get to watch it (my parents cant stop me now). I'm pretty sure that its a movie, but i can't say for sure that it isnt an episode of a tv show.

If you said when you were a kid it might help.

                That reminds me of
                The Legacy (1978)
each death is related to something they did in the past. Daltrey's character is burned and there is a woman who drowns.

I think you have it mixed up: Roger Daltry's character gets an emergency (and fatal) tracheotomy. It's another guy (Charles Gray?) who gets incinerated & his remains fed to the Dobermans.
But no doubt, it's THE LEGACY.

I will admit it's been years since I saw it. Was the death by fire because a young woman working on a music video met the same fate?

I don't think so! (Like I said, Daltry basically had his throat cut, he wasn't burnt.) And I don't remember it being any kind of revenge scenario. But with me, too, it's been years.
