To me it was a disappointment, I will never deny that it isn't in the top 200 on IMDB but I will also never say that I liked the movie. I thought it was horrible, between Force Awakens and Batman v Superman that was the closest I have ever been to demanding my money back. I did not say "obviously it was a disappointment", if it's "obviously a disappointment" then that means that there is an objective formula to determine which films are disappointments and TDKR would be classified a "disappointment" based on the formula. Such formulas do not exist, that is a completely subjective statement.
Well you harped on and on about the fight choreography and the sun going down too early so what am I to conclude?

Fight choreography yes but the sun going down was not me. I simply brought it up to you to prove something. If you are allowed to harp on a Mickey Mouse joke then I am free to complain about fight choreography.

How did Indy and the Grail protector become friends after the boat chase? Indy calmed down when the protector gave up trying to kill him. Then Indy asks him where his father is and he tells him. It's not like they threw a party afterwards.

They went from trying to kill each other to giving each other a ride and telling each other vital information. It was the equivalent of Batman and Mr. Freeze becoming friends.

Indy and the Grail protector weren't friends. The Grail Protector stopped trying to kill Indy once he figured out Indy was only looking for his father, not the Grail. At this point Indy stopped trying to kill him since it would've been murder because he no longer posed a threat to his life.
Then the Grail protector told him that if he let him go free he would tell him where his father is. Indy let him go and the Grail protector kept his word and told him where he is. It was in the interests of both men to help each other. They weren't friends. They didn't hug each other or have a party.

Indy and Kazzim were friends, just look at the way they are talking to each other after that failure of a boat chase (why there's a boat chase in an Indy movie is beyond me, Spielberg was trying way too hard to make a Bond film), they went from two guys trying to kill each other to being best friends just like Batman and Freeze. Tell me this doesn't it seem like the guy got over Indy killing his comrades rather quickly? Seems really cheesy and stupid.

That was one dumb moment in Temple
                One
? He listed several, and those were just from the top of his head. The entire film was littered with such moments, from beginning to end. Just about every single scene with Willy, just about every single scene with Short Round, the dinner scene, the flirting scene, Willy panicking at all the wildlife while Indy and Short Round are playing cards, slapstick violence, a roller-coaster scene etc. etc. etc.
The Mickey Mouse bit in Last Crusade, however,
                that
was one thing. And it wasn't even a dumb one. The bit about pretending to be a Scotsman,
                that
could be argued to be dumb. But simply someone mentioning Mickey Mouse? There is nothing remotely dumb about that at all.

Butler, he just likes to whine constantly about Last Crusade.
I love his hypocrisy though. He keeps banging on about "kiddie flicks" but rated 3 Ninja Kids a 10.
Maybe that's why he loves Temple so much. Short Round went 3 Ninjas on the those lame villains.

No completely different scenarios, 3 Ninjas was always intended to be a kiddie franchise and it has some Nostalgic value for me because I used to watch it when I was a kid and I thought it was great back then. Indiana Jones however started out as an adult franchise and Spielberg dumbed it down and made it overly campy for children.

Donovan's hellish supernatural death is to dark for this to be considered a children's film. And again we see a man's head get cut off in it and see a couple of bodies with their heads sitting next to them.

Donovan's death scene wasn't dark at all, there was no blood and it happened very quickly. I'd say Jafar's death in Aladdin 2 was more gruesome than Donovan's death.

No because of your illogical hatred of the film. I'm not the only one who thinks this, as others accuse you of trolling the board. The thread you started is anything but intelligent or stimulating, so I responded in kind. What you lack in intelligence you more that make up for with stupidity

I can only imagine the kind of damage a hippo would do to a glass house. Last Crusade is an epic film about, as Marcus Brody puts it, "the search for the Divine in all of us." (See, he wasn't a bumbling fool for the whole film). It's also a down to earth story of father and son reconnecting and finding common ground after 20 years of distance. It is also a fun and jovial film at times which needs no apologies put forth in my opinion. If all you want is human sacrifice go watch a Wes Craven film. Indy is about fun, action, adventure. Horror is just a sub-genre touched on in some scenes. The nazies were one of the greatest evils of all time and Indy's epic adventures in saving sacred objects of power from falling into their hands is truly amazing in both Raiders and Last Crusade. The Mickey Mouse thing is so insignificant in the scope of the film that it really doesn't deserve its own thread. I think Hippo, like Elsa, "just doesn't believe in the Grail." 😉

Hahahahaha, last crusade epic? Thanks for the laugh that was hilarious, but no really last crusade was a campy, childish slapstick pathetic attempt of having the franchise reach out to children even though it was never a children's franchise. It had the most boring action sequences, the most bland acting I've ever seen and the most unfunny jokes I've ever heard. As stated previously last crusade is a lot like space balls, the plot doesn't matter, all that matters is the jokes. The difference though is that space balls was actually funny.
