Who would you cast in the remake and in what roles
Nick Offerman as Lou
Ryan Reynolds as Rodger Dorn
James Franco or Zach Effron for Rick Vaughn
Michael B Jordan as Willie Mays Hayes
Dwayne Johnson as Pedro
Paris Hilton or Kim kardashian as Rachel Phelps
The only person I can't think of is Jake

I hate remakes but you put some good thought into this. Reynolds, Franco and Jordan are perfect. Jake is a tough one, the aged catcher!! Hmmm A guy with good looks but definitely been thru the ringer Maybe Mickey Rourke?? He's too old but has the look. Same for Willem Dafoe. Idk. I'll think and come back

For Pedro I'd go with Ejiofor or Mahaera Ali(Spellcheck lol) Ali especially has the look. Maybe even Idris Elba.

What team would be used now? While the Indians as of me typing this haven't won a World Series since 1948 they have played in 2 World Series 1995 and 1997 and will be playing in a third four days from now.

Paul Rudd - Jake Taylor (Seems to be the right age to play Jake, and is a really good dramatic/comedic actor)
Chris Pratt - Rick Vaughn (I know he hasn't played this kind of character before really, but I think it would work here, Aaron Paul would be my second choice)
Ben Stiller - Roger Dorn (I think Ben Stiller would be perfect for Dorn, he plays a really good sarcastic A-hole. I thought of him being similar to the character he played in Dodgeball. Plus Dorn was supposed to the older Veteran)
Lana Parrilla - Rachel Phelps (She plays the perfect villain)
Donald Glover - Willie Mays Hayes (I saw someone else post this and really like
this choice)
Nick Offerman - Lou Brown (Obvious choice)
Idris Elba - Pedro Cerrano (He's a big dude, and it would work for him I think)
