great call.. you're probably right
there's way too many similarities for that to be a coincidence.. there's even a physical resemblance between the two.. i'm thinking the whole snot thing was added for comic relief.. i doubt perry went that far

It just occurred to me his name was Ed Harris. He is one of my favorite actors.

When Harris was talking about religion he reminded me a little of Tommy John. John also allegedly put banned substances on the baseball.
