What you consider to be the Dream Child of the Fri 13 series.
I know a weird question but I'm just curious.

Are you just suggesting that because it's bad? Although Jason Goes to Hell did have the cool ending of Freddy grabbing Jason's mask and pulling it underground. It's just too bad that the movie was so bad it bombed thus postponing Freddy Vs. Jason til 10 years later. Anyway I don't think there's any Friday the 13th movies like this.
Also there's only 3 deaths in this movie. Friday the 13th movies always have a dozen or more.

I'd say this is most similar to Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives in that they both have a similar dark atmosphere about them. They both feel rather spooky and serious to me.

I'd have to compare it to Jason Goes to Hell simply because that one is the most NOES-like, what with the (even more so than usual) supernatural elements. Or perhaps Jason Lives, because that's where Tommy's story ends, just like this is where Alice's story ends.
I think it was you who mentioned in another thread that Freddy was too powerful in this one; how Mark stood no chance since Freddy could simply turn him into paper. That made me think of the later Friday films. I'd kind of forgotten how weak Jason was in the beginning, like how he would actually struggle when people tried to fight him.
I don't really have a point, just a similarity I noticed.

Of course it's similar to Jason goes to hell cause they both are at one point in a smaller baby form. Only good thing about Jason goes to hell is the hot nude police chick in the beginning that trapped Jason.
