I really like all of the Nightmare films, except Freddy's Dead is my least favorite. Even that I can enjoy, but The Dream Child is awesome!

To me there are a lot of good things about The Dream Child

      1. The return of Lisa Wilcox as Alice my favorite character in the series
      2. Excellent score
      3. Underrted ending
      4. Some of the best dream sequences in the entire series
      5. Dan's and Greta deaths are great (unrated version)

Oh, I really agree with the Alice being one of the best heroines part. I loved Kristen and them, but I really loved Nancy and Alice more than any of the other girls in the series.
I loved all the characters, although I loved some more than others. Great/good acting. The story was a good idea. I think it's an underrated movie.

I have to say, after revisiting this movie tonight, I appreciate the film more than I used to. And I agree with your points.

I still think it sucks but Lisa Wilcox (Alice) did a perfect job of filling the shoes of the female sympathetic character after Nancy, I also like they revisited the Amanda Krueger plot of the series.

there were some scenes i really disliked-mostly with Jacob. But I thought the deaths were great. But it would have been better if they kept them how they were originally filmed.

I must say that this is not my favorite in the series, but it did have some high points. The entire beginning part of the movie, with the blue love scene and the shower nightmare, was really great. Lisa Wilcox is a great scream queen, if you can even call her that, because the keeps her cool most of the time. I've noticed that the ensemble casts get gradually better, as wellI liked the groups from 3 and 4 but these guys just had more chemistry.
I just couldn't get on board with the whole "dream child" conceptI'm glad there was a decent ending, though.

Just watched 3, 4 and 5 for the first time. While I find this to be the worst of those 3, I still enjoyed it.

The theme. Its so magical and sad. I rewatched yesterday, after 4 years when i rewatched the franchise for the first time. Now i cant get that music out my head! And guess what? Now i like this movie, even if is almost the worst of the series (that goes to part 6, but i like too)
I like the death in the comic book scene, very creative, and Dans too. I liked Alices father, although he should appeared more.

-Once again i liked Alice, even more now that she wanted keep her baby, so cute ❤

I like this one as well. I like all the original movies. They have their high and low points. I am still entertained by "Freddy's Dead" even tho it's one of the weaker entries in the series to me.
I'm finishing up watching the original series right now actually.

I enjoy this film a lot and think it's one of the better sequels. I enjoy the dark, surreal tone it has, the beautiful scenery, and the most disturbing death in any Nightmare on Elm Street film (Greta's death). Lots of people hate it but I can't understand why.
