No, I THINK the op is talking about at the beginning of the movie when he is first ressurected, his right arm is left arm is REALLY long and has really long fingers.

I always imagined it was a nod towards the alley scene in the original. I never noticed anything skeletal about it though (until he kills Dan?) Maybe it's something else entirely. I'll have to watch it again.

My theory is it's b/c he GREW so fast it left him distorted, for a while until he sheds his hand in Dan's truck.
Also when he is "blown" off the podium his feet look skeletal as well. Or to ME any way.

According to the makeup designs for 5, the extra-long arm is supposed to show that Freddy's body hadn't grown back properly. He went from baby to a more "teenage" form. You know how a teenager's body is awkward and gangly? That's what this was supposed to be. He hadn't fully-formed into grown Freddy. They even called the design "Teen Freddy."
He still looks like normal Freddy with a jacked-up left hand though.
