I wish I could get my kids to live with my ex and his mistress! LOL Yes, Kudos to Ruth Patchett, although she did love her kids but when she did that it was a smart move to get teach her hubby and that Mary Fisher a lesson.and it worked.

Yes, I was so glad she dropped the kids off with Bob and Mary. Bob thought that he was just going to leave Ruth and the kids behind while he lived it up with his mistress in her mansion but he had a rude awakening when Ruth decided to get even and leave the kids with him, basically turning their lives upside down. Good job, Ruth!

That's what happened when my parents divorced. My mom got the short end of the stick while my dad (or sperm-donor) ended up with way more than he deserved. He didn't pay alimony or child support (long story but it's basically cuz my dad doesn't live in the country). So my mom got this AMAZING opportunity afterwards to get a job that paid 6 figures. The only problem was my brother was underage (my sister was 17 and I agreed to let her live with me for a while - I was already married at this point) and honestly a spoiled kid. SOOO my mom gave my brother to my dad and went on her way. My dad can't even go to court and sue my mother for child support because in the divorce decree they stated that they won't get child support lol.
Now she's happy with her amazing career and my dad has to deal with my brother- his new wife hates it and my brother doesn't care for either of them so all he does is mooch off them for money lol. He barely speaks to his new wife and gets all the rewards of my dad who makes great money and his wife can't say anything HAHA! -

Well I know you find it funny, how things turned out for your family, but I can't help but feel sad.
Especially for your brother. The way it reads, it sounds like no one wants him around. That can't be good for him, poor kid. It'sumnice that he gets to 'mooch' off your father and step mother but financial rewards are no replacement for a loving home.
Thank goodness this film is pure fantasy. I can't imagine any loving mother leaving her children with a father who doesn't seem to care for them and his 'bit of fluff on the side'. How could you know for sure that your kids would be properly taken care of? What kind of environment would people like that provide for children?

She stayed at the nursing home because what else was she going to do? It was her job. And she didn't bilk Hooper for the money. They opened a business together which was very successful. It's not like she stole the money and started the bsiness herself.
Rose bided her time, living her life, but keeping an eye out for opportunities to extract her revenge. -

That's the difference between "She Devil" and "Desperate Housewives", for once you don't have the woman lamenting on herself, and keeping the kids as a consolation because she's the one who love them etc etc
