Garcia never did anything. He was a "man of leisure" or just someone that went with the decor of the house. And what was the deal about him going all up in Mary's face? Was he attracted to her or something or was he just being a tease?

He was obviously there as her personal sex toy, but got irritated when Bob entered the picture. That's why the night Bob doesn't come home/Mary takes her pills/etc. he teases her by simulating sex on his gym machine then slamming the door in her face.
As for the Nicolette thing, I totally agree. Watch for their creepy/inappropriate looks @ each other at the dinner table when Mary's mother visits. Guess he found someone else to service lol Gross.
