Really disappointed in tonight's season premiere. I know it's just the first episode and I suppose he could get better but I don't have high hopes. The fake deep voice and forced acting just fell flat. He also seemed to talk over the videos more than previous hosts have. If he'd just be Alfonso and not try to be Carlton, maybe it would get better.

I didn't even last as long as you. However, I turned on during the segment when two people (man and woman) had to guess who's going to do what in the video. That was more than enough for me to realize that Alfonso is no Tom.

I am not too fond of Riberio's performance as well.
He sounds like he's using that fake radio announcer voice where he has to stress words, use a very variable pitch in every sentence. Almost like George Takei, except I think Takei is just naturally like that.
