Can a man who never met his father, relate to the 'Will & Lou' episode?

I am a 33-year-old man who never met his father, and I always tear up when watching that episode, particularly at the end when the camera does a close-up of the father/son statue while Will is hugging Uncle Phil and crying. Several of my friends, whose fathers were in and out of their lives like Will's father, told me that I don't know what it's like to be an unwanted child. They basically treated me like a white kid getting emotional over black people being racially profiled. As if to say that it's understandable if Ray Charles was upset about being visually impaired, while it's not understandable with Stevie Wonder.

I once lost a grape under my couch while watching that episode. I searched and searched for it but couldn't find it at all.
Then one day my cat did a poop and there is was; unchewed and undigested.
I planted it opening that I might get a grape vine out of it but then that incident at Waco happened and I had to move out before being shot.
They were interesting times, I always think about that cat and wonder if it swallowed other things expect grapes or if that's a thing other cats can do.
Weird.
Anyways props on whatever it was you were saying and let's hit the intro song again:
"It, was Philadelphia born and raised…"
Ding Dong
!
