It seemed like they made it too much of a social issue that was too racially motivated, concentrating more on a white and black conflict. I thought it should have been more black and (police) blue conflict. They purposely made more of the so called crucial antagonists white. Now if they would have made the officer that was shot black, it would have toned down the racial issue and would have concentrated more on the overworked underpaid medical examiner. Instead of focusing on the repercussions of poorly paid and overburdened city workers, they chose to make it seem that it's justified to shoot a police officer, if you feel you were wronged.

You know, it was supposed to be racial. Go join a cop forum if you want to suck the police's balls. There have been numerous cases of white cops treating black citizens like sht. Also the show wasn't arguing that it was okay to shoot some random cop, they were just pointing out that the police have a habit of mistreating blacks.

So much for you being objective. Your deep seated anger for the police especially white police officers seems to have made you a little bias.
By finding this defendant not guilty for shooting a police officer, made it quite clear, that all you need is a reason and it doesn't have to be a good reason to shoot a police officer.
