This is a question for those who have seen the British series "Keeping up appearances".
Is the manor house (or castle) used in the movie, the one Sylvia and Mary move into with Edward, the same one used in at least one episode of Keeping up appearances?
It is either the episode where Hyacinth and Richard go to an auction at a manor house, Hyacinth buys home made wine and gets drunk.
Or it is the episode where they go to a manor house to look at the place and the art work. Hyacinth waits at a door leading to the private rooms of the family, hoping to catch a glimpse of them. Then she spots Onslow and Daisy and tries to escape.
Or it could be both episodes.
Btw I did try looking at the filming locations section for 3 Men and a Little Lady, and there is a name of a British castle. When I click on that name, Keeping up appearances is not listed. So either I am wrong, or the information about that castle is incomplete.
Please tell me what you think.

I know this is 6 years after the event!
The castle is Broughton Castle which is near Banbury in Oxfordshire. I live about 3 miles away and my friend is a volunteer guide there when it's open to the public. It also featured in 'Shakespeare in Love'.
The hilly area where Tom Selleck is running to find a phone box is Burton Dassett Country Park, not far away by the M40.
I know this area well and it's nice to see it in sun and warmth with the wheat growing.
I can't help you re 'Keeping up Appearances' as I didn't watch it.

Thank you, I still come in here once in a while.
I found episodes of Keeping up Appearances on Youtube, and I am sure I am right.
The castle in the episode called Stately Home
is the same one, fast forward to 19:50 to see the scene.
You do not really get a full view of the castle in that scene, but I recognize the inside and the garden.

Yes that also looks like Broughton Castle, at least from the outside. I think it's the inside too as they probably wouldn't have had the budget to keep going to different stately homes!
