    Seems like one of the few countries to have this much underrated gem released on DVD is Australia. Even though I've seen a scan of the back of the box, I still can't be sure that the Oz DVD is in the original widescreen.
    Can anyone out there confirm if it is or not? Thanks.

      unfortunately not.its only open matte fullscreen with 2.0 dolby surround.since it seems to be the only version worldwide,theres not much choice.picture quality is alright though given the circumstances.

        Thanks for responding. Guess I'll just stick with my old VHS copy for now. Hopefully, whenever this gets released in the US, they'll do a better job on it. Quite a few Cohen films are on DVD now, so I remain (cautiously) optimistic.

          i just bought a cheap $5 version ,16 x 9 anamorphic picture, some special features including cast interviews . i saw estella warren but she doesn't show skin . maria bello is quite a go'er .lol

            It's out on Blu-Ray in Japan and looks awesome.
            It's available on amazon.
