When the final course of events in Marty's changed history, leading up to the red light and him racing Needles and crashing into the Rolls Royce, by all means Marty would've been speeding, BUT, that rolls Royce driver was 100 percent at fault. There were no stop signs or traffic lights on Marty's right of way, that rolls pulled out right in front of him, so how was he able to sue Marty and ruin his future??

I imagine in the crooked world of a Richie Richer who owned a Rolls Royce and could hire a big-time lawyer , vs a drag-racing teenage Marty and his 'not that rich' parents , that it wasn't going to work out well for the lad.
Besides, I believe his future was more ruined by his own medical injuries that prevented him from pursuing a guitar-playing musical career.

The roads were empty apart from those cars so no witnesses to say the rolls Royce just pulled straight out. The driver's probably rich, and money can buy you out of trouble. That's the unfairness of life sometimes. Not a plot hole.

Wow in the UK if you crash while speeding the Judge won't even hear a defence no matter what the other car did!
We have to show the world that not all of us are like him: Henning von Tresckow
          .

Same here. Street racers don't win court cases.
Is very bad to steal Jobu's rum. Is very bad.
