Question about the Delorean hidden in the Cave

Doc writes a letter to Marty in 1885 and tells him the Delorean has been sealed in the cave. Marty finds the Delorean in 1955 inside the cave and goes back in time to 1885. He finds the cave and drives in. Question - Where is the other Delorean and why is the cave not sealed?

They're different places.
Marty just parks the Delorean in a little cave Doc tells him about in the drive-in.
Doc hid the other Delorean in an abandoned silver mine.

Thanks. I was trying to figure out why Marty did not see the other Delorean and just use that one to travel back to 1985 with Doc. After all, wouldn't every time jump into a new timeline erase the old one? I figured that's why 1885 Doc did not know about 1955 Doc helping Marty go back to 1885 because they were different Docs from different time lines and would not have the same memories as each other.
