Well Junior, you see that Class of 1984, is an old movie now, it was directed by Mark L Lester, who also directed the Class of 1999, but not the unwatchable squeal. The only real links betwenn Class of 1984 and Class of 1999, is the director, and that they both take place in schools with troublesome students.

Class of 1984 = Lincoln High (I'm just starting to watch it right now)
Class of 1999 = Kennedy High, I'm pretty sure (just watched it). I would go back and check but I don't care. 😛

Anyone else find it weird/creepy that both schools are named after presidents who were assassinated.

The movies are related only in that they share a continuation of the same universe. 1984, showing the increase of youth crime, 1999 it having gotten so bad that the federal government steps in to try and control it.. then 1999 Part 2 taking place even further in the future, as it seems like maybe the government has succeeded in at least getting the crime under control for the most part.
Also is it just me or do the two main characters in Class of 1999 Part 2 look almost like they were cast entirely to look like they could be a middle-aged Cody and Kristie? Kinda fun to imagine it is them.
I like to imagine that the school in 1984 and 1999 is the same school. They definitely look almost identical.
