He's a far right extremist and the movie portrays him as a villain because it's woke.

He just gives off those vibes. I highly doubt he is very liberal. It's interesting because in the novel, 58 Minutes, which DH2 was based on, the terrorists are hardcore Marxist extremists. It seems that was reversed for the movie somewhat.

Interesting. The villains in Die Hard’s origin novel also featured Leftist terrorists. That’s Hollywood for you. McCarthy was right all along, it seems.
I’m afraid ‘He just gives off those vibes’ doesn’t constitute evidence. I can’t say I agree with Col Stuart’s ideology because we don’t know what it is, but I do agree with his hatred of Communists.
