Henry is just as abusive and monstrous as Tommy or Jimmy.

Henry Hill is more of a sociopath while Tommy and Jimmy are Psychopaths. The textbook abuse he inflicts on Karen in the marriage is utterly sociopathic. Make no mistake, because he doesn’t kill anyone doesn’t make him any less of a monster.

Henry Hill killed more than he let on in real life, just because the film tries to paint him in better light. Doesn't mean its fact, as Paul Vario's favourite associate. You can bet he was sent to kill a lot of people, on behalf of the 2 bosses being Tommy and Carlo who's 2 kids married each other.

Exactly.
I suspect he may have murdered as well.
Though of course we don't know that because this is based on a book he wrote or stories he told and of course he is going to leave out things that will incriminate him.

I don't know about the real Henry Hill, but he certainly wasn't physically abusive in the movie, and the only reason he hit Karen was because she was pointing a gun at him and he felt his life was in danger.
Now in fidelity, it was different. He was a womanizer but I know Karen kind of knew that. All the mob wives do. They just don't say anything about it.
