Johnny Roastbeef’s wife and him were killed because they bought the car and attracted attention, but Frankie Carbone’s wife wasn’t killed, even though she had the mink coat. Why didn’t Jimmy whack her as well?

I was under the impression that they were also killed so that Jimmy could keep more money for himself.
Or maybe that was the motive to murder others.
