The manager is behind the cashier asking the questions instead.

I've seen this same trailer and it made me wonder. How was this scene first conceptualised? Did the cashier get suspicious and call the manager? The dialogue is exactly the same; they just changed who was asking the questions.

It could be that the director shots scenes in multiple ways until they click. Not sure.
