I had a conversation with my daughter today about this (very trivial!) conundrum. She thought he tied the bags together & made 2 trips. Based on his inventiveness, I imagined he would find a broken branch from the nearby trees, lay the plastic of the bags over the twigs to create a sort of canoe, then drag it all home in one go!!
Any other ideas ? -

If you remember, he was walking home with 2 white bags of shopping from the supermarket (including a large bottle of fabric conditioner) and the bags broke. Film then cuts to him at home. The toothbrush purchase was earlier.

I guess he probably hid some of the groceries in the bushes or somewhere safe after the fell out. Then he carried whatever he could, and came back for the rest. Would have been the most sensible thing during winter time.

That is a good question that I never thought about, but wouldn't the grocery store would have been a far for him to make two trips. This is one of these questions, that will will answer with your guess is as good as mine if not better then mine.

He had 4 bulky items - milk, fabric condition, OJ and kitchen towel. My guess is he would ditch the kitchen towel and OJ and carry the milk and fabric condition, hana.
The microwave meal he would put inside him trousers and the toy soldiers take outside the bag and put in the pockets, hana -

A bit irrelevant ( well, actually, totally irrelevant) to the post, but…. What is this "hana" thing I see and a few others constantly use?
Is it just like an inside joke? Or does it have an actual meaning?
