She comes close enough to the bed, grab her arm, pull her in and choke her unconscious. I could have her sleeping w in a minute.

I don't think you quite understand the situation he was in. His legs were completely fractured; poke them slightly and he would have felt tremendous, crippling pain. Same for one of his arms. If choking her out with one arm failed (and it would with him in that condition) she would kill him immediately. Later in the movie when his arm heals, maybe then that plan could work. But that's still a big maybe.

Exactly. The OP must be lucky to have no had any broken limbs or damaged tendons. The slightest bump or even shift in weight hurts so bad it can make you black out.

oh we go more "tough guy" threads.
yeah i can imagine if they remade this movie now how it would go
haha I highly doubt paul sheldon would be of a "slight build" frame man anymore.. or even as james caan portrayed him for that matter which I am sure was pretty close to it.
now, the character would have to be buffed and tattoos lmfao. oh don't forget the alpha attitude.

You don't understand what some people would do to survive. We as humans have adrenaline that can filter pain for some time. I knew a peraon who was shot during a large brawl. He didn't even know he was shot in the leg until the police came and had everyone on the ground.
There's a story about a house fire where the wife (small 100 lbs) managed to carry her unconscious 200 plus pound husband to safety.
As you can see, a he could of hit her hard and knocked her out. An adult male punching a woman or even a man in the jaw or temple will send a jolt to the brain, that's what knocks a person out. I took martial arts and even with head gear on, a good kick or punch will drop you to the ground. And as for choking someone out, it's very fast. I've been choked out in sparring matches. It's snooze time ones the blood flow is cut to the brain. It literally took a few seconds for me to black out from a guillotine choke.
What I didn't get was the type write to the back of the head. She stated that it weighs 50 lbs, it would of knocked her out instantly. Just ask my brother's friend's younger brother who took a wooden bat to the head. He was in a coma for 2 weeks and my best friend's cousin in law who took a brick to the head and he was in a coma for 3 weeks.
