My memories of Navy Seals, comes from getting to do two days of Featured extra work in the 2 Pentagon Scenes and getting to meet Michael Beihn, and a few months later, getting a Navy Seals Poster signed by him.

SEALS is of those great movies you slap on when your with your mates. As an adolescent boy it's one of your faves.
I first watched it with my mate Ben when I was about 13 I think. We were both Mike Biehn fans. It isn't exactly a well made film and the story is dry as a bone and hollow as a trunk. But the appeal of the film is the cast playing what is probably America's most famous and best loved special forces unit! We love seeing them bust into rooms wasting ragheads and jumping out of planes showing off all their cool gear and skills in the all American fashion.
It was a bit of a ritualistic thing watching SEALS. You always come back to it. I thought it was cool as a kid, I still appreciate it now in my mid 20's. It's a sentimental fave.
I can't seem to get any box office results on it tho, did it totally flop or have minimal success?

I am still waiting for my DVD in the post. I first saw this film when I was a kid about Eleven or twelve.
I was with my mates and we all loved it. Like a "Top Gun" but with navy seals. When your twelve this is a very important point of veiw.
            So we all loved it.
I love the golf cart scene..it cracks me up even now when I look back at the "fasion" style of the early 90s.
Oh and when he gets shot.yeah
and when he's in the back of the merc chuckling to himself because he's on morphine. It's the attention to detail.
I loved it when I was twelve and I love it now!"
            EAT THIS!!!!!
(no mater what happened in Alien 3.. Hicks lives!!!!)

its like 10 times better than top gun. I didnt believe for one second tom cruise as a believable pilot. I believed that michael biehn however was close to a SEAL

                Well said that man!
I am not a fan of cruise.
I did like top gun but it paled into insignificance next to navy seals.
When I was a kid I loved them both though.
Hey I was twelve what did I know!!

I also regard Biehn as THE most underated actor of all time and watched this film forthe first time a few years ago because i spotted him on the cover. He was good not his best performance though. I liked this film alot though, everything apart from EVERY scene on the golf course. It had some funny moments the golf bit, but, my god, why.
BTW i think Biehns' best performance is as Dwayne Hicks

No way. That's his best nice guy role but his best performance was as Coffee in THE ABYSS.

CHASTAIN6 is the creepiest person I have ever come across on the internet. I hope Michael Biehn gets a restraining order before something bad happens.

I recorded it on my DVD Recorder on Saturday while it was showing on Channel 5 in the UK. I just liked Sheen and Biehn equally.

                                OK movie.

Yeah, he was good as Coffey in The Abyss. And I think my personal favorite character of his is Hicks, but I have to sayhe really outshone himself as Johnny Ringo in TOMBSTONE.
                                      He was kick-ass.

first saw it three days ago. Enjoyed it. Spotted a lot of plot holes and technical problems but enjoyed it. The car chase was good and the battle scenes impressive.
I did laugh at one point as themusic sounded remarkably like A cue from Hot Shots, which is spoofing this kind of movie.
