I saw Russell Crowe and Tom Cruise at a movie premiere as a child.
Tom Cruise just waved at us but Russell Crowe came over and shook our hands.
He seemed really friendly in person.
In terms of conversations longer than just "hello" I met Tommy Wiseau at a The Room screening where he signed my DVD and script.
We had a very brief conversation but all I remember was he was very organised as I was waving a bunch of memorabilia and a phone at him and he was like "Ok, let's sign the script first then we can move onto the picture".

For work I had to speak to one of the Def Leppard guitarists. I didn't actually know who he was but he told me he would get in touch when he was back in the UK as he was currently on tour so I googled him and it was a guy called Phil Collen. He was really nice and very friendly.

Keanu Reeves. I saw him at a grocery store in Los Angeles. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Here, let me buy you lunch, okay?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept being polite to me and going “Where would you like to go? It’s on me.” and shaking my hand and giving me puts on the back. We finally settled on Quiznos, then I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands after paying for them. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Have a good day, sir.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and came back to the counter to give her one. When she took one of the bars, he shook her hand and told her “No, you have an excellent day,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that she moved for like a solid minute. After that, we went and got Quiznos.
