Its just a show people and I liked her on the show.

I didn't really mind the idea of Frank and Carol having a kid together, but I think they could've done a better job of it. Besides, that girl already had a line of pointless grape juice commercials, I mean, I you need some grape juice you just buy it, you don't need some cute but annoying kid telling you to.

agree totally about Michelle - she was never ever ever cute - bug eyes, bags under he eyes, and the red nose. loved full house except for michelle. i'm just now getting to watch the later shows in 1995 where they just had lily - big difference, cant stand it. 1 too many kids on here. poor brendan.

That is what Step By Step were trying to do with Lillys character! The way the creators thought about it is that if it worked for Full House then why can it not work for us as well by adding a little girl to the show as a character!
To me it was just fine the way it was you know. I think it would have been better a little boy instead of a little girl for the character.

Gah - THANK you! I thought I was the only Full House fan who hated Michelle. I grew up on Full House, and Stephanie was always my favorite, partially because she was closest to my age, but also because she was clever and kind of cheeky. For the first couple of years, Stephanie was the cute one, because Michelle, being a baby, didn't get a lot to do onscreen besides sit there and drool while some frustrated member of the family tried to change her diaper. Once she got to toddler age, though, the show pretty much became all Michelle, all the time. Even the series finale revolved entirely around her. That kind of ticked me off.
From what I remember of the later seasons of Step By Step, the same thing happened with Lily. It happens on a lot of sitcoms when they try to re-up the cuteness factor by adding a baby (again, also happened on Full House with Jesse and Rebecca's twins). In this case, though, the writers were desperate and couldn't wait for Lily to age, so she grew up about 3 or 4 years between seasons. I think this was also about the time that Dana suddenly started looking like a stripper and was inexplicably madly in love with JT's best friend who, for the previous years of the show, she couldn't stand. The whole thing just became one big weird mess.
